St. Louis County, Missouri, is escalating its efforts against the opioid epidemic with the introduction of Naloxone vending machines, set to debut on Tuesday. Naloxone, widely recognized by its brand name Narcan, is a critical medication capable of reversing the effects of an opioid overdose.

County leaders will unveil the new resource at the 24:1 cinema in Pagedale, simultaneously launching the "I Carry for my Community" campaign. This initiative aims to increase access to the life-saving medication and empower community members to respond effectively to opioid overdose emergencies.
