Electric City Butcher, based in Santa Ana, California, has developed a meat vending machine as an alternative to traditional grocery shopping, according to a ktla.com report.

Founder Michael Puglisi deployed the carousel style machine in Ocrober in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The machine is available 24/7.

The machine is monitored 24/7 for product temperatures and all products are vacuum packed.

Offerings start at $3.50 for eggs up to $16 for steaks.

The machines are available in Santa Ana, Costa Mesa and Aliso Viejo, California.
