ATLANTA -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association said its staff met with a panel of operators here to discuss their needs and feedback regarding NAMA's educational offerings. Participants included NAMA member operators from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana and Michigan.
"Our goal for this meeting was to learn what tools and resources these operators were already taking advantage of from NAMA, what they knew about current offerings, and ultimately, where we can grow NAMA education to better meet their needs," said NAMA vice-president of education Meredith Ellison.
The meeting was hosted by LightSpeed Automation's Randy Smith at his company headquarters in Suwanee, GA.
Ellison said the feedback and ideas gathered at the meeting will be incorporated into 2016 education programming and beyond.
Following the meeting, participants took a tour of Tucker, GA-based Southern Refreshment Solutions, led by company president Jeff Parks and director of micromarkets Chris Hart.
