In an effort to address the growing fentanyl crisis, the South Milwaukee-St. Francis Health Department has installed a public health vending machine outside City Hall, according to a 620 WTMJ report. The machine, funded by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, provides free access to vital resources such as Narcan, fentanyl test strips, medication disposal bags, gun locks and condom kits.

"The Health Department appreciates this opportunity from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and is excited to be able to offer our residents the option of obtaining these life-saving items 24/7," Jacqueline Ove, public health administrator for the South Milwaukee-St. Francis Health Department, told the news outlet.
