South Eastern Railway to install water vending machines at key stations in India

The South Eastern Railway is set to install 11 water vending machines at 10 stations within India's Chakradharpur division, according to a report by The Town Post.

The machines will provide cold water for just five rupees, offering relief to passengers, especially during the hot summer months.

They will be placed at key stations like Adityapur, Chaibasa, Sini and Rajkharsawan. Tatanagar station, which already has nine water vending machines, will also benefit from this initiative.

This move is aimed at improving passenger comfort and ensuring access to clean and affordable drinking water.
