Sodexo to deploy 1,200 Kiwibot robotic delivery vehicles

Sodexo has signed a multi-million-dollar contract with Kiwibot, a Colombia-based robotic last mile delivery provider, to deliver over ,200 robots to 50 U.S. college campuses by the end of 2022, according to a press release.

Kiwibot also raised an additional $7.5 million in funding from five investors, including Sodexo, bringing its total to $14 million.

"This year, more students than ever will benefit from autonomous delivery and we're pleased to be at the forefront of this emerging market," Sarosh Mistry, chair, Sodexo North America, said in the press release.
