Snyder’s-Lance to close Charlotte facility, eliminate 125 jobs

Snyder's-Lance Inc., which is owned by Campbell Soup Co., will close one of three Charlotte manufacturing plants in late summer, eliminating as many as125 jobs, according to a Yahoo News report.

The company reported 125 layoffs at its Emerald Nuts business, which it sold to Flagstone Foods in Minneapolis in May.

The layoffs will be effective Aug. 25 through Sept. 7.
