Smart Vending to bring CryoWerx smart fridges to US

Smart Vending Inc., a Hayward, California company that specializes in fresh food vending, announces its partnership with CryoWerx to bring the Singaporean company's retail smart fridge platform to the U.S., according to a press release.

"With a modest investment fresh food companies can open a retail location inside any busy building and sell 24/7 without onsite labor," Nathan Downs, Smart Vending Inc.'s founder, said in the press release. "It's a win-win for operators and consumers while voiding the environmental impacts of on-demand food delivery."

This year Smart Vending Inc. will begin domestically manufacturing fridges while continuing to use the Cryowerx software platform. The company has already begun shipping fridges to accounts around the country.
