Skokie residents object to proposed Carvana vending machine

Residents of a multifamily facility in Skokie, Illinois have objected to a proposed Carvana car vending machine along Interstate 94 in their community, according to an msn.com report.

The proposed 135-foot mostly glass enclosed tower would be located on the site of a parking lot at 9831 Woods Drive and visible to expressway drivers.

Some residents believe the structure could bring traffic, lighting and environmental problems.

A real estate appraisal delivered to the village said the building is not detrimental to nearby residential properties.
