Shekel Brainweigh Ltd., a weighing technology provider that has introduced AI-powered autonomous shopping systems, has named Arik Schor as its CEO and board chair, according to a press release. Schor is an experienced senior executive with a successful track record.
In addition to joining Shekel Brainweigh as CEO and chairman of the board, Schor is an independent director at Paz Oil Company Ltd, which is a publicly listed company on the Tel-Aviv stock exchange. He is also chairman of the board of Tadbik, a packaging solutions provider, and Afimilk, a manufacturer and marketer of computerized systems for the dairy farm and herd management industry.
Prior to joining Shekel Brainweigh, Schor served as CEO of Tnuva Group from 2009 to 2016, a food conglomerate in Israel with turnover of more than $1.5 billion that was acquired by Bright Food, a Chinese food and beverages manufacturer. He also served as CEO of Hogla Kimberly, a subsidiary of Kimberly Clarke.
