Self-serve can top removal tool Draft Top launches crowd funding campaign

Draft Top Inc. has launched a Kickstarter crowd funding campaign for its self-serve, countertop, can top removal tool, according to a press release.

The tool consists of a countertop cup holder where the user inserts a can and pulls a lever to remove the top of the can, producing a topless can with a smooth rim. The user then pushes the lever back up and the tool ejects the separated can top.

The tool delivers topless cans for bars, restaurants, stadiums and other venues, in addition to at-home use.

The tool removes the need for glasses, barware and the utilities to clean them.

To date, $78,936 has been pledged on Kickstarter by 228 backers with 28 days to go.
