Beera Station, an Israel based self-pouring beer machine service provider, has teamed with iDenfy, a Lithuania-based identity verification and fraud prevention startup, to check buyers' ages and verify their identities, according to a press release.
Beera Station's app, Tappster, uses a built-in identification system from iDenfy. The AI-powered algorithm checks whether the user's uploaded document is real and prevents minors and clients with fake, altered documents from accessing the drinks from Beera Station's network.
iDenfy's verification procedure takes less than a few minutes. The automated ID document detection system recognizes documents by type and country. iDenfy's software runs a series of checks to detect fraud while spotting inconsistencies and verifying user data.
iDenfy is ISO-certified, GDPR compliant and has insured its products with Lloyd's cyber insurance.
"iDenfy is helping us ensure security without compromising our customers' experience," Shoval Vishengrad, co-CEO of Beera Station, said in the press release.
"Implementing modern tools and securing the business helps safeguard your reputation, not to mention protect your customers and their data," said Domantas Ciulde, CEO of iDenfy.
