CHAM, Switzerland -- European vending giant Selecta Group B.V., has appointed Gabriel Pirona chief financial officer. CHAM, Switzerland -- European vending giant Selecta Group B.V., has appointed Gabriel Pirona chief financial officer. Pirona is a multi-lingual senior finance leader, and joins Selecta from UK-based Photo-Me, where he has worked as chief financial officer during the past three years.
Pirona will succeed Hugues Rougier as chief financial officer on Apr. 1.
Selecta said Pirona has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions and a "strong commercial background in businesses that demonstrate many similarities with Selecta."
Selecta, founded in 1957 and based in Cham, Switzerland, reportedly operates more than 132,000 vending machines in 16 countries and serves more than six million consumers daily.
