Sega warns industry about unauthorized games

Sega Amusement International Ltd. has advised the industry that Key Master Direct, based in Texas, is not an authorized Sega distributor and machines sold by that company are not covered under any Sega warranty, according to a press release.

Sega advised customers to contact their local authorized Sega distributor to purchase genuine Sega Key Master games or contact the company directly, according to a letter from Paul Williams, Sega CEO.

Sega further said certain unknown companies are importing copies of the Sega Key Master game.
