WASHINGTON -- U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke kicked off an initiative to reemphasize hunting and fishing at his department with one of Raw Thrills' Big Buck Hunter arcade videogames. The temporary coin-op addition to the department's dining area is set on free play and the centerpiece of the Secretary's Shotgun Showdown, a competition that will award the winner with a personal visit with the Secretary. The contest runs through Oct. 11.

"Some of my best memories are hunting and fishing with my dad and granddad, and then later teaching my own kids to hunt and fish," Zinke said. "That's something I want more families to experience. Hunters and anglers are the backbone of wildlife and habitat conservation in America because sportsmen contribute billions of dollars to conservation."

Zinke kicked off the Shotgun Showdown with a challenge by U.S. Fish and Wildlife career employee Casey Stemler from Littleton, CO.

WASHINGTON SHOWDOWN: U.S. Secretary of Interior Ryan Zinke unveiled a Big Buck Hunter Pro in his department's employee cafeteria. The unit, which is a temporary addition, challenges players to take part in the Secretary's Shotgun Showdown competition.
