Seattle medical cannabis dispensary installs self-service machine

The Seattle Caregivers medical marijuana dispensary has installed a cannabis vending machine from American Green billed as a self-service, age verifying, climate controlled dispensary, according to a report in The Daily Beast.

Seattle Caregivers will stock the machine with medicinal and recreational marijuana flowers, edibles and merchandise. The machine has an ID-scanner to verify a user's age and identity before dispensing a product.

Stephen Shearin, president of American Green, said more such machines will be introduced in Washington, California, Colorado, Alaska, Rhode Island and Michigan.
