Sealed Air to acquire Liquibox for $1.15B

Sealed Air Corp., a Charlotte, North Carolina-based packaging company, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Liquibox, a Richmond, Virgina-based manufacturer of bag-in-box fluids and liquids packaging and dispensing solutions for fresh food, beverage, consumer goods and industrial end-markets, according to a press release.

The acquisition complements SEE's Cryovac fluids and liquids business. Fluids and liquids packaging solutions are a $7 billion addressable potential revenue opportunity with a projected annual growth rate of approximately 6%, according to the press release.

Purchase price was $1.15 billion on a cash-free, debt-free basis.
