ST. LOUIS -- Several new amusement machines aimed at meeting the needs of a diverse range of locations and operator budgets are now shipping from S&B Candy & Toy Co. The ambitious release includes six cranes and a novelty vender.
Leading off S&B's rollout are two Dinosaur World plush cranes in 24" and 32" cabinet widths. Both models include a patented display top and light cover options. Spinoffs of the company's popular Dinosaur World egg vender, the new plush cranes feature the same look, music and dinosaur sound effects. The company is also offering a low-cost dinosaur-themed plush mix.
Also new from S&B is the Lucky Ducky Derby crane in a 25" width. Themed on the iconic bath-time rubber ducky, the new unit offers a metal pyramid topper, full-glass-door display, and handheld keyboard for programming.
S&B also has two new versions of its Route 66 skill crane line. The 32"-wide plush model features full-door gantry access, light cover options and a central control panel. The new 30"-wide Route 66 is part of the company's EconoCrane line. It has four-sided neon lighting, along with a full-glass-door display and handheld keyboard.
Rounding out the new S&B skill crane offering is the 30"-wide Neon World, sporting a polished aluminum cabinet, a choice of a half dozen neon colors, high-tech sound effects and handheld keyboard. It's the latest member in the company's eLite line.
In related news, S&B reported that its Dinosaur World egg vender has been approved for sale by the Washington State Gambling Commission, which determines if an arcade machine is amusement, skill or chance. Dinosaur World, when used as a standalone vending machine or in conjunction with a merchandiser, meets the state's criteria as an amusement machine. The vender can also dispense tickets and print coupons.
