Sandstar names managing director, European markets

Marianne Haugland Hindsgaul

Sandstar, a provider of artificial intelligence and computer vision to the self service and retail industries, has named Marianne Haugland Hindsgaul as managing director for European Markets, according to a press release. She most recently served as CEO and co-founder of Bobly Inc., a provider of self-serve kiosks and gamification software.

Hindsgaul, fluent in Norwegian, English and French, will have an office in Norway and will lead expansion of AI smart kiosks, smart shops and smart retail in Europe.
