J&J Vending, a San Francisco area convenience services provider, will deploy touch-free vending solutions from Renetec Inc., the technology provider announced on its website.
Renetec is a manufacturer of display modules and SDKs for GUI development founded in 2019 by ex-Facebook and Tesla engineers.
"No matter how much theory you know, you can never beat years of experience," Renetec CEO Sasha Shturma said in the announcement. "And this is exactly why we've partnered with J&J Vending, a veteran in the VM industry that's been in business for 30-plus years. We are honored to work with Joel Skidmore, the owner of J&J Vending and the team, to bring cutting edge technology to traditional vending services."
As more businesses reopen, there are rising concerns of keeping the premises sanitary, the company said in its announcement. For some locations, touch-free solutions are a must-have for vending machines to operate.
