According to
Business Insider, airport officials say the Uniqlo To Go machine is one of the highest-earning vending machines at the airport, bringing in an average of $10,000 a month. The vests have become known as the unofficial uniform for venture-capital investors.
Uniqlo, a Japanese retailer, first debuted vending machines in airports and malls nationwide last year, selling two of its most popular items -- a thermal t-shirt for $14.90 and a lightweight down jacket for $69.90 in several colors. The new machine at SFO adds -- a down vest -- retailing for $49.90.
