Russian government enlists snack machines to improve worker loyalty

The Russian government has instructed regional governors to install snack vending machines in administration buildings as part of an effort to maintain the loyalty of municipal clerks, according to a report in Verstka, an independent Russian news source.

The directive also instructs the vice governors to improve medical insurance and obtain preferential bank loan terms for employees.

The government is concerned about the loyalty of government employees following a year of war.
