INDIO, CA -- The recent Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival featured classic coin-op during at least one high-profile performance. Hip-hop artist ASAP Rocky took to a stage adorned with such classics as Donkey Kong Jr. and Ms. Pac-Man. The rapper's performance was also notable for a guest appearance by self-proclaimed genius Kanye West, and festival organizers' decision to cut off his microphones when a song threatened to go over the allotted time limit.

Coachella, considered a hub of cutting-edge fashion, music and lifestyle trends, takes place annually in April here. Hosted by the Empire Polo Club, the first Coachella was held in 1999. This year's festival is held over two weekends, April 15-17 and April 22-24, and is expected to attract some 180,000 visitors.
