Rich Long, Benchmark GamesHYPOLUXO, FL -- Richard Long is retiring from his longtime position at Benchmark Games, a leading manufacturer of amusement machines. Long was an integral member of Benchmark's sales team.

Long entered the coin-op amusement industry in 1974 when he joined Time-Out Family Amusement Centers. After two decades with this arcade chain in the continental United States and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Long accepted a post with Laser Tron (Amherst, NY), a pioneer in the development of laser tag systems for family entertainment centers.

With this background, Long joined Benchmark, where he has applied his experience to selling such leading games as Wheel Deal, Drill-0-Matic and Slam-a-Winner. This was a logical next step, according to Benchmark founder and president Alexander Kress, and it worked out well for all parties.

"We thank Rich for his years of service both to Benchmark and our industry," Kress said. "We hope he enjoys the fruits of all his labor with a relaxed retirement for years to come."
