Reverse vending machine pays you to recycle

A vending machine featured on an Instagram video pays people to recycle soda cans, according to a Hindustan Times report.

The video shows a glassfront vending machine housing rows of dollar bills. A customer inserts a used soda can and in return receives a bill.

The video has received numerous comments, including some who think the concept makes a good way to discourage people from littering.
