An application for a pizza machine proposed for a car park in the Southsea resort in the U.K. has been withdrawn over concerns about its impact on health and crime, according to a BBC report.
Several people objected to the application for the machine which the Portsmouth city council submitted for the D-Day Story car park. The machine is made by Chichester-based Pizza Rebellion.
While some residents raised concerns about the machine's impact on health, a safety officer said it could increase disorder and crime.
The council proposed the machine as a way to make food available along the seafront.
The council is now looking for an alternative place for the machine.
