A recent study indicates coffee consumption can slow advanced colon cancer, according to a webmd.com report. Patients who consumed at least four cups of coffee daily were 36% more likely to survive, based on a study of 1,200 patients over a 13-year period.

Researchers found patients who drank up to one cup of coffee daily survived 30 months after their diagnosis, while those who drank two or three cups survived 32 months.
