CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association said registration for its annual Coffee, Tea & Water conference is now open. CTW takes place at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, TX from Nov. 6 to 8 (Monday-Wednesday).

Innovation, disruption and sustainability are among the topics on tap for the conference. Marking its 10th year, CTW offers networking opportunities and a lineup of timely educational sessions of interest to office coffee service operators, managers of related businesses, and newcomers to the vending and OCS industry.

"Education has been the key focus of CTW since its inception, and this year is no different," said NAMA director of education Rori Ferensic.

This year, conference-goers who arrive a day early will be able to register for an added-value event, Ferensic said. Monday will kick off with an advance paid session, Coffee 101, which covers coffee fundamentals and brewing techniques; this course puts participants on the path to NAMA's Certified Coffee Specialist designation.

The conference, which formally gets under way on Tuesday, Nov. 7, will offer a varied curriculum of educational events. These will include seminars on "workplace café" design and technology, sustainability best practices, "bean-to-cup" coffee brewing equipment, cybersecurity, the results of the 2016 NAMA study, and industry and consumer trends.

Rounding out the agenda at CTW 2017 will be a welcome reception and a bustling trade show with more than 100 exhibiting companies expected. Registrants can continue to forge connections at a networking event hosted by NAMA's Emerging Leaders Network, and expend their excess energy at the "WIN in Doubt, Workout!" -- a fitness walk and boot camp class hosted by NAMA's Women's Industry Network.

Once again, NAMA's CTW event will collocate with the International Bottled Water Association's annual business conference and trade show, which will run from Nov. 6 to 9. The two organizations have met together annually since 2012, with results that have been beneficial to their members.

Online registration for CTW may be found at coffeeteaandwater.org. Additional information and registration for the IBWA conference is online at bottledwater.org/convention.
