REDONDO BEACH, CA -- The renowned Fun Factory arcade here is scheduled to close its doors forever early in January 2020. Principal Steve Shoemaker has announced that the arcade will conduct a live webcast auction of the arcade's contents on the weekend of Nov. 9.

Up for bid will be a vast assortment of arcade and carnival games, signs, antiques, fixtures and fittings, souvenirs and memorabilia from the celebrated seaside attraction, which opened on the Redondo Beach Pier in 1972 and has built a devoted following during its nearly half-century of operation.
