RedMart vending machines debut at Singapore MRT station

Commuters at the Raffles Place MRT station in Singapore now have the convenience of accessing daily essentials from newly installed vending machines, according to a report by The Straits Times.
They are stocked with a variety of products from RedMart, including drinks, snacks and even haircare samples.
The vending machines are part of Hive Express, a retail innovation hub at the SMRT-operated station. RedMart is the first company to be featured in this space, which aims to support merchants with cutting-edge technologies.
Stellar Lifestyle, a business arm of SMRT Corp., expressed excitement about the launch of Hive Express. "This initiative reflects our commitment to creating dynamic and future-ready environments that benefit both commuters and small businesses," Stellar Lifestyle's president, Tony Heng, told the news outlet.
Customers can purchase items from the RedMart vending machines using the Lazada app. The prices offered are the same as those found on RedMart's online platform.
