Ferrara Candy Co., a Chicago based candy maker, suffered a ransomware attack that disrupted its production earlier this month, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

The company, which makes Keebler, Famous Amos, Brach's Candy Corn, Nerds and Laffy Taffy brands, said the hack won't affect Halloween supplies.

The company said it is working with law enforcement and specialists to resume full capacity.
