Quench introduces touchless, bottleless water dispenser

Quench, a Culligan company and a provider of filtered water solutions for businesses across the U.S. and Canada, has announced a touchless Quench Q8 bottle-free filtered water system. The Quench Q8 is a touchless, sensor-activated water cooler that connects to an existing water supply to dispense hot and cold, mineral-infused drinking water for commercial customers, according to a press release.

"By using position sensitive detector sensors, the Q8 offers our customers reliable touchless dispensing without the concern of false dispensing from light reflections, radio waves or even static electricity," Ted Hertz, vice president of product management, said in the press release.

The unit is available as a floor-standing model that is 50 inches tall. allowing most users to dispense without bending down, and as a compact countertop model that fits nicely under most breakroom cabinets.

Both units are fully featured with:

• Quenchwater+, mineral-infused and electrolyte-enhanced water, on-demand through Quench's proprietary 5-filter purification system.
• In-tank LED UV-C to help maintain cleanliness and water quality.
• Antimicrobial surface protection to help maintain the cleanliness of treated surfaces, including the dispense nozzle, dispense area and drip trays.
• Scheduled preventive maintenance service.
