Purdue University has partnered with beauty products firm LumiNicole to expand access to beauty, wellness and personal care products while creating professional development opportunities for students, according to a Purdue Administrative Operations report. The company has opened a cashless automated retail store on the first floor of the Krach Leadership Center at Purdue's West Lafayette campus.

The store carries beauty products, wellness items and everyday essentials. Its technology uses real-time inventory data, sales analytics and automated merchandising tools to adjust its product selection based on customer demand. A second LumiNicole location is planned for the West Lafayette campus.

Purdue and LumiNicole also intend to explore internships, brand ambassador positions, campus events and experiential learning opportunities involving entrepreneurship, retail technology and brand development. LumiNicole, founded by Purdue alumna Kendra Bracken-Ferguson and Leslie Roberson, previously launched university retail partnerships at Adelphi University and Cornell University.
