Private equity firm acquires Kronos Foods

Entrepreneurial Equity Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on making investments in the food and consumer packaged goods industries, has acquired Kronos Foods Corp. based in Glendale Heights, Illinois. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.  

Kronos is a provider of global cuisine, including Mediterranean foods, ready-to-eat proteins, plant-based proteins and bakery products. Founded in 1975, the company's KronoBroil technology provides further offerings for customers including pre-cooked, ready-to-eat gyros slices for foodservice providers.
