Private equity firm acquires Kar’s Nuts, Sanders Chocolate brands

CapVest Partners LLP, a London based private equity investor, has acquired Madison Heights, Michigan based Second Nature Brands, which owns Kar's Nuts and Sanders Chocolates, for an undisclosed sum, according to a report in The Detroit News.

CapVest Partners acquired Second Nature Brands from a private equity fund affiliated with Palladium Equity Partners LLC.

Vic Mehren, CEO of Second Nature, will remain in his position.
