Primo Water receives sustainability certification for Florida spring

Primo Water Corp., a provider of water direct to consumers and water filtration services in North America and Europe and a provider of water dispensers, purified and spring bottled water, and self-service refill drinking water in the U.S. and Canada, has received sustainability certification for its Wekiva Spring site in Florida by SCS Global Services, according to a press release.

This certification follows certification of Primo Water North America's Diamond Spring site in Pennsylvania in early December 2020, which made Primo the first company to have a spring water source certified under the Alliance for Water Stewardship program.

AWS certification covers five aspects of responsible water stewardship: good water governance, sustainable water balance, good water quality, important water-related areas, and safe water, sanitation and hygiene.
