Primo Water acquires Mountain Valley Water

Primo Water Corp. — a provider of home and office bottled water delivery and water filtration services in North America and Europe, as well as a provider of water dispensers, purified bottled water and self-service refill drinking water in the U.S. and Canada — announced that DS Services of America, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary, acquired substantially all of the assets of the Mountain Valley Water Co. of WNY, according to a press release.

The acquisition of the Mountain Valley Water Company of WNY — a provider of water delivery services to homes and offices in Buffalo and Rochester, New York — will add approximately 1,500 customers, strengthening Primo Water Corp.'s footprint in northern New York. In addition, this acquisition will result in DS Services of America, Inc. being the sole home and office bottled water delivery business distributing Mountain Valley Water products in New York. 

Customers of Mountain Valley Water Company of WNY will continue to be offered Mountain Valley Spring Water and can also now receive Crystal Rock, the DS Services brand in the region, as well as coffee, tea and sparkling water beverages.
