Primo Water acquires Highland Mountain Water

Primo Water Corp., a provider of water direct to consumers and water filtration services in North America and Europe as well as a provider of water dispensers, has acquired Atlanta, Ga.-based Highland Mountain Water, an independent distributor of Primo's Mountain Valley premium water brand for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release.

The acquisition was made through Primo Water's North America subsidiary.

"With more than 2,500 customers and a service area that includes a population of more than 4 million residents, Highland Mountain Water will fit seamlessly into the Primo family and align with our mission of inspiring healthier lives through better quality water," Tom Harrington, CEO of Primo Water Corp., said in the press release.
