Prepango to install illycaffè machines at Denver airport

Prepango LLC, a San Diego based operator of specialty vending machines and automated retail, has partnered with Denver International Airport to install vending machines, including illycaffè coffee vending machines, according to a press release.
The illycaffè machine grinds and brews whole bean. Beverage selections include espresso, cappuccino, caffè latte, macchiato, mocha and other espresso-based drinks, as well as fresh drip coffee.
"With the return to travel, an exceptional coffee offering makes perfect sense" Marcos Modiano, founder and CEO of Prepango LLC, said in the press release. "There are two unique aspects to our newest automated concept: first and foremost, we have partnered exclusively with illy, the makers of exceptional coffee sourced from the world's best Arabica coffee. This means immediate brand recognition; and second, it is a promise to deliver a new level of quality which traditional consumers of automated coffee vending machines are simply not used to in the U.S.A."
Unlike traditional coffee vending machines which often serve instant coffee, Prepango's unit is a full espresso maker, utilizing whole illy espresso beans to grind, brew and serve the full list of espresso hot drinks, from an espresso to a macchiato, to a cappuccino, café latte and Americano.
