ANN ARBOR, MI -- Michigan's 365 Retail Markets has secured another round of funding. The micromarket tech company completed in February 2014 a multimillion-dollar Series A funding round from the same investor, Plymouth Ventures. The companies did not disclose the amount of the latest round.

Three Six Five said it plans to use the capital "to continue to invest in foodservice and small-store point-of-sale technologies and expand internationally."

Plymouth Ventures chief executive Mark Horne said 365 Retail Markets has been a consistently strong performer, and is among the fastest-growing Michigan companies with more than $10 million in annual revenue.

"Joe Hessling [365 chief executive] is a proven visionary in this new and rapidly growing market," said Horne. "We look forward to assisting 365 in continuing to aggressively build its business."

Hessling said Plymouth's investments have supported the expansion of his company, which grew from 15 employees to more than 80. He said 365 has "several groundbreaking initiatives" underway.

Jeff Barry, a partner at Ann Arbor-based Plymouth Ventures, sits on 365's board and led 365's latest financing round.
