Plug pulled on beverage machine tampered with to serve beer

A can beverage vending machine that was dispensing beer in a Canadian apartment building has been disabled, according to a castanet.net report.

The closed-front machine included two of seven selections marked as beer, as shown on a youtube video of the machine in action. The machine was located in the apartment building's laundry room.

Police said someone tampered with the machine to include the beer selections, which dispensed beer cans for $4.

A building resident alerted the police about the machine.
