Bert Bontemps |
Bontemps began his career at Play Mechanix in August 2009 after having spent a few years as a tester for Raw Thrills. Play Mechanix reports that he has tested every version of Big Buck Hunter going back to Big Buck Safari, and so has in-depth knowledge of the game from both the player and operator's perspective. He also serves as a game warden for the annual Big Buck Hunter World Championship.
After a temporary assignment to assist with Coin Up support this summer, Bontemps accepted the position of Coin Up customer support and operations engineer in October 2015.
Coin Up's online system connects to the six latest Big Buck Hunter versions, along with Terminator Salvation, Tippin Bloks, Wheel of Fortune and MotoGP, a new motorcycle-racing simulator. At the machine level, Coin Up allows the player to compete online. Players also can view statistics and site leaders from across the network.
Amusement machine operators can use coinup.com as their portals to the online network. The user-friendly site provides them with a custom homepage that provides access to earnings and collection reports and the latest news, among other online tools. They can even use it to create custom tournaments.
Operators with questions or issues relating to their Coin Up accounts are encouraged to reach out to the new customer support manager at bbontemps@playmechanix.com.
