Play Mechanix Announces April 1 Release For Big Buck HD Update

GLEN ELLYN, IL -- Play Mechanix and Raw Thrills are expected to release the latest update for their Big Buck HD Wild coin-op videogame package on April 1. The update includes a new Big Buck hunting adventure entitled Bighorn Sheep. It also includes three all-new bonus games, whose targets are named in the titles: Pesky Pigeons, Mischievous Lawn Gnomes and Ziplining Frogs.

Officials from Play Mechanix and Raw Thrills, which are partner studios, said the update combines a primary traditional hunting scenario with three adventures of a more whimsical nature.

"This release keeps the promise we made in 2015 of exciting new content every year through 2017," said Play Mechanix's Jessica Petro. "Not only is the content new, but it's also of the high quality that players have come to expect from Big Buck HD, keeping them engaged and coming back to play their favorite hunting game."

The Bighorn Sheep update is free, and will automatically occur on all machines connected to Play Mechanix's CoinUp network. To update offline machines, operators are required to use an access code to activate the new content, which was included as a latent feature in a previous update.
