Pizza vending machine in Scotland goes viral on social media

A video of a pizza vending machine in action got more than 1.5 million social media views after a 20-year-old woman, Honey Keenan, posted a video on TikTok, according to a Glasgow Evening Times report.

Keenan was impressed that the machine served a delicious pizza in three minutes.

The video also caused people to flock to the machine at the junction on Blackfriars Street and High Street in the Merchant City neighborhood in Glasgow.

The machine's providers offered Keenan a year's supply of pizza in appreciation for the video's impact on their business.

The idea for the machine came from Kristofer Maguire and his family, who own the Metropolitan Bar in the same neighborhood, according to an earlier Glasgow Evening Times report.

The machine, called The Pizza Machine, can store 96 pizzas at a time in a chiller. It has two ovens that can cook simultaneously.
