Pills Found In Bulk Vender Trigger Police Investigation

ROCHESTER, NH -- Local press reports here are describing an incident in which pills were dispensed from a bulk vending machine. According to news reports, a child discovered the pills inside the 1" capsule purchased for 25¢.

The machine, located in a local pizzeria, has since been removed. Police are investigating the incident with assistance from the pizzeria and the operator of the bulk vender.

As local law enforcement officials noted almost immediately, the pills were not controlled substances. Rather, they appeared to be medication to treat high blood pressure.
