PFG Appoints Dave Flitman President Of Performance Foodservice

RICHMOND, VA -- Dave Flitman has joined Performance Food Group as president and chief executive of its Performance Foodservice broadline food distribution unit.

Flitman comes to PFG from Univar, where he was chief operating officer and president of its U.S. and Latin American division. He began his career with E.I. duPont de Nemours & Co. In his new position, he will report to PFG president and chief executive George Holm.

Performance Foodservice is an operating unit of a family of foodservice distributors that includes Vistar and PFG Customized Distribution. The PFG organization delivers more than 150,000 national and proprietary-branded food and food-related products to more than 150,000 independent and national chain restaurants, quick-service eateries, vending operations, pizzerias, theaters, schools, hotels, healthcare facilities and other institutions. It operates one of the nation's largest private truck fleets and maintains 67 distribution centers, as well as 11 Merchant's Mart locations across the U.S.
