Performance Food Service to build Colorado warehouse, add 145 jobs

Performance Food Service — Denver, a division of Performance Food Group, will hold a ground-breaking ceremony at the site of its new 265,000-square-foot facility from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at 9940 Havana St. in Commerce City, Colorado, according to a press release.

Slated for completion in late 2023, the new facility will allow Performance Food Service — Denver to better serve more than 1,100 customers by increasing warehouse space, adding automation and creating 145 jobs over the next 10 years.

The facility will more than double the square footage of Performance Foodservice — Denver's current location.

Performance Food Group also owns Vistar, a nationwide warehouse distributor for vending and micro market products.
