Performance Food Group to expand South Carolina operation, adding 150 jobs

Performance Foodservice, a division of Performance Food Group, plans to expand operations in Florence County, South Carolina, a more than $11 million investment that will create 150 new jobs, according to an scnow.com report.

Located at 2801 Alex Lee Boulevard in Florence, the expansion will enhance the company's servicing capacity, including the purchase of new equipment and increased dry good storage.
The expansion is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2022.

Performance Food Group is also the parent company of Vistar, the nationwide products distributor for vending and micro markets.
