Performance Food Group to expand Massachusetts facility, add 350 jobs

Performance Food Group, which owns Vistar Corp., the nationwide vending product warehouse distributor, will invest $31 million to add 117,000 square feet to its facility in the East Springfield neighborhood in Springfield, Massachusetts, according to a wwlp.com report.

The company plans to add 350 full-time jobs to its current headcount of 560.

The former Springfield Foodservice Corp. moved from Taylor Street in Springfield to its current location in 2007.
