Performance Food Group teams with 13 retail partners during coronavirus pandemic, furloughs 3,000 employees

Performance Food Group Company, which owns Vistar, has signed agreements with 13 retail partners among the actions it has taken during the novel coronavirus pandemic, according to a press release.

The company is now distributing groceries to approximately 1,000 grocery locations as it builds out its distribution capabilities to this channel.

The company has furloughed or eliminated a total of approximately 3,000 positions across the organization.
